Who benefits from chair Yoga?
Anyone! If you're seeking to improve your mobility, support a health issue, recovering from an injury or surgery, want to boost your confidence after a fall or illness or if you're wishing to enhance your psychological, emotional, mental wellbeing you are warmly welcome at TLC to practice in a compassionate and comfortable environment at your own level.
This gentle chair based yoga class, include breathwork and meditation. The chair is used to sit on for your practice and/or used as a support, if comfortable standing. This practice is for anyone where the mat is not accessible.
Chair Yoga is valuable for rehabilitation purposes because it exercises and strengthens the entire body and mind, rather than simply working only one specific region of the body. Keeping the whole body in good physical condition is one of the most difficult challenges facing individuals who are recovering from injuries.
Each Monday 10.00-10.45am £8 per session

As a Yoga Therapist, Samantha Ba (Hons) Psych., Dip. Yoga therapy specialises in Women's Wellbeing, Mental Health, Sleep Recovery/Insomnia, Back care, Breast Cancer care and many other issues.
Passionately believing Yoga and Meditation are for everyone, she makes them both accessible to all with a dash of humour and a pinch of philosophy. She guides through the use of simple postures and movement, a focus on effective breathwork combined with mudras and mantras to access all levels of your being.
Samantha is appreciative of the healing, nurturing aspects of yoga and her knowledge of hypnotherapy further enhances the mind/body connection.
