TESTIMONIALS

“I have been participating in these beautiful events for a number of months now and I have thoroughly enjoyed every time.

Fiona creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and has a wonderful way of sharing mantras with people. She facilitates the sessions, allowing everyone to have choice and to contribute in their own way. Fiona has a deep understanding and relationship with these practices and it is a joy to be part of any of her events. I feel very blessed to have been introduced to her and her sessions.”

“Fiona's mantras made me feel like the weight of the world had been lifted from my shoulders. The tone was perfect and so beautiful to be in the presence of such a glorious healing sound.

I felt uplifted but so peaceful at the end. It is something I will definitely be joining in with again and I would encourage anyone to try it - you will not regret it, that's for sure.”

Namaste, Hi, Dear Friends,

I am delighted to invite you to another Mantra Event at the Therapy Life Centre on Monday 23 rd

October, doors opening at 6.45 p.m. and we start at 7.15 p.m. for about 60-90mins duration.

What is a Mantra?

Mantra means Man = Mind and Thoughts, and Tra = is the Vehicle that transports - the Thoughts or

Mind - to a place of peace, tranquillity, or a space.

Sometimes these Events are called Kirtan? Kirtan is where we come together and sing or chant the

Name of the Highest Self, or of our own understanding of the Highest Self.

What to expect?

A safe space is created where we can gather and experiment in finding and connecting to our inner

voice, our own sacred chord. We do this through singing and chanting vibrational frequencies of the

Mantras, in effect you will be resonating with and from your own natural inner voice.

We will be using an eclectic mix of Ancient Eastern Mantras, some Bhajans and Modern Western

Hymns and Blessings to access our inner voices, the effects being similar to Nada (Sound) Yoga.

Why Chant Mantras? What are the Benefits?

Mantras and Bhajans use some seed syllables and notes which can invoke a vibrational alignment

within and without the Body, Mind and Soul and align with the Earthly and Universal planes.

While Mantras have their own specific meanings they are devotional - full of Love. We can set our

own intentions when chanting, is it of Love, or well-being, or to our Self or to others i.e. our Families,

Friends, or to the Earth, to Nature or our own personal form of God, or beyond.

Also by combining the elements of being in a community, and the power of the vibrations and

frequencies of our inner chords, we create a deep connectedness; this allows the opening of our

Chakras and Heart Centres.

The chanting and singing may bring about a release of feelings, or even raise emotions such as Joy

and Bliss, or bring about a deep Meditative state, or a sense of Liberation, Freedom and Well-being

and a need to move, a shift.

When chanting or singing the Mantras etc.… we follow the Science of Sound and Vibration, that is

everything on and in the Earth and Universe has a frequency a vibrational energy, and as we chant

we can match the frequencies of our physical Body, Mind and Soul to that of the Earth and

Universe.

This is another form of Natural Healing, by using our voice, our own unique sound we can affect our

molecular structure with the frequencies we can bring about a vibrational alignment, a reset to

normal balance and harmony of the body’s cells and systems, it has many more wellness and

healing benefits.

This natural healing modality has actually been used for thousands of years by Ancient cultures

around the world. It is rapidly becoming a top wellness trend, recognised by Science for its benefits

and is used by many health and healing professionals.

All are welcome, Fiona will be joined by Jo and Karen in playing for you, and we look forward to meeting you there.

If this sounds good to you, I am looking forward to welcoming you at the Therapy Life Centre.
