An afternoon to step out of life’s frantic pace and give yourself some time and space.
We begin with a short talk and discussion around ‘authentic mindfulness’ and how a genuine practice can help reduce suffering and encourage flourishing.
You will be guided through a variety of meditations and, if you choose, there will be the option to spend the afternoon in silence in order to fully focus on your well-being.
"As always, an afternoon of mindfulness practise is just what is needed to re-focus."
"It was good to come back to practise and remind myself why taking time for yourself is so important."
"I enjoyed every practice and hearing about the 8 steps to happiness in regards to mindfulness."
"I found the laying down body scan meditation very rewarding and different from sitting meditation."
The workshop includes a break with refreshments.
(Some experience of meditation or yoga required. You may wish to bring your own mat, blanket, cushion for lying down practices but these will be provided).
