Starting Monday 11th November 2-3pm for a 4 week taster course
Investment #20.00 for the 4 weeks or 6.50 drop in fee.
Move it or Lose it! Offers a simple yet effective way to achieve better
health and well being by providing safe, evidence based exercise that
is necessary whatever your age and especially helpful for those with
mobility problems or health conditions.
All the exercises are related to activities of daily living and can be
adapted to suit different levels of ability including seated, standing
with support or free standing exercises. The sessions also offer
opportunities to socialise, which have a positive impact on physical
and mental health.
The classes are perfect for people that do not like exercise, are self
conscious or are new to exercise. These sessions include some
flexibility, aerobic, balance and strength delivered through games and
activities to great music and all at a pace that suits you.
These sessions will motivate you to become more active and to
understand what you should be doing and why.
I hope that with regular participation you will feel better physically and
mentally, you will make new friends, feel supported, have a lot of fun
and laughs along the way!
Jo is a massage therapist qualified in Sports and Advanced Clinical
Massage and a trained Move it or Lose it! fitness instructor.
She has been running these popular Move it or Lose it! Classes for a
number of years in her local community and is looking forward to
bringing this fun and effective class to Southend on sea
