After a career in the intense and stressful legal industry and managing my own business, I decided to finally make the change that so many of us dream of, to follow my heart and do something I have always felt deeply passionate about. I wanted to help people on their wellness journey; I wanted to become a qualified holistic therapist.
For most of my life I have had an inherent interest in complementary therapies. Initially, this extended to attending courses and attaining qualifications from time to time; extensive reading and interested research; giving treatments to friends and family and of course receiving treatments for myself when I needed them! It is certainly fair to say that at first my enthusiasm in holistic therapies was to predominately enhance my own life, health and well-being only. However, as time went on I started to feel the need more and more to use my learning to help others. I found myself increasingly leaning towards reflexology as a treatment of personal choice after the many positive experiences I'd had myself over the years with this particular therapy. This led me to continue my studies and become a qualified Reflexologist.
I love using my knowledge, personal experiences and learning to help others achieve a sense of well-being, just as I have done. My decision to pursue my dream of becoming a holistic therapist has given me the opportunity to do just that. As well as being a Reflexologist and a member of the Association of Reflexologists, I am also qualified in Swedish Massage, Reiki I and II, Indian Head Massage and Crystal Healing. I also hold a Certificate in Counselling Skills Level 2.
