I have been a physiotherapist since 1984, and started my CranioSacral therapy training in 2004, completing my advanced level 2 in March 2013.
Physiotherapy and CranioSacral therapy are my passion. I believe strongly that the way to achieve positive health is by looking at the balance of the physical, mental and emotional being – the importance of the mind/body connection.
I am a manual (hands on) therapist. Since combining Physiotherapy and CranioSacral therapy, I am seeing the the best results of my career. The knowledge I have acquired over the last 29 years has helped me to grow and develop as a therapist and I now have a much deeper understanding of the multi-faceted problems people present to me, enabling me to better treat and advise.
In April 2011, motivated by the opening of the Centre I trained to be a Laughter Yoga trainer. I was surprised at what a powerful thing laughter is and, on a personal level, the course had a profound effect on my chronic headaches, giving me valuable insight into the underlying cause of the headaches.
I have successfully run my own private practise, Revivo Therapy, for seventeen years and am now expanding into this larger project. The Therapy Life centre aims to help aid people on their path to wellbeing. It has been a dream of mine to bring together like-minded, highly qualified therapists, working as a team to help people in all aspects of their lives. I am very excited at the direction this is taking and the amazing people I have on board.
I am a member of CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapists) PhysioFirst (Organisation of Physiotherapists in Private Practise), HPC (Health Professions Council)
Upledger Institute UK (CranioSacral therapy) and am recognised by most of the major medical insurance companies.
